Dr. Emily Foster
Orthopedic Surgeon

Dear Dr. Foster,

I am writing regarding Mr. David Johnson, a 26-year-old amateur footballer, who has been undergoing rehabilitation after undergoing left ACL reconstruction.

He initially presented with poor quadriceps strength and knee instability. After eight weeks of physiotherapy involving strengthening, proprioception, and balance training, he has achieved a good range of motion and improved strength. However, he remains unable to jog safely.

I recommend continuing physiotherapy for another six weeks before reassessment for sports clearance. Kindly review his progress at your discretion.

Yours sincerely,
