Dear Mrs. Scott,

Thank you for bringing Whiskers in for his dental procedure today. He underwent a complete dental cleaning and extraction of two molars that were severely affected by periodontal disease. The anesthetic and recovery process were smooth, and he is now alert and stable.

Please administer the prescribed medications — Amoxicillin–clavulanate twice daily for seven days and Meloxicam once daily for five days — to prevent infection and manage discomfort. Offer him soft food for the next five days and avoid hard kibble or treats until healing occurs.

If you notice any drooling, bleeding, facial swelling, or refusal to eat, please get in touch with our clinic immediately. A follow-up visit is scheduled in ten days to check the sutures and overall oral healing.

With proper care, Whiskers should recover completely within two weeks. Thank you for your cooperation and trust in our care.

Warm regards,
Dr. Jennifer Wong, DVM
